The Grayston Unity in collaboration with Bradford Music Scene presents Oliver Pinder as a pre show gig for Bastille who are playing at the Piece Hall later on that evening.
Oliver Pinder writes songs so things don’t disappear.
Born in Queensbury, Bradford and now based in Wakefield, the Yorkshire songwriter creates guitar driven alternative music rooted in memory, grief and release. His songs feel like late night confessions, built for headphones, long drives and rooms full of people screaming the same words back at him.
After losing his dad at 12, music became Oliver’s way of documenting the moments and feelings he did not want to lose. What began as intimate indie folk has grown into cathartic, guitar led anthems, drawing comparisons to Bleachers, Wunderhorse and Phoebe Bridgers. His live shows are shared release points, sweaty, emotional gatherings where heartbreak and nostalgia are left behind together.
Following his debut EP Potential, I Guess?, with support from BBC Radio 6 and BBC Introducing, Oliver has sold out headline shows, played The Great Escape, Barn on the Farm and Humber Street Sesh and headlined Brudenell Social Club in Leeds.
His second EP too late to tell you was released in November, marking his first vinyl release and celebrated with a 16 date UK tour across 11 days, covering over 2,000 miles. In 2026, Oliver will release his third EP as he builds toward his debut album in 2027, continuing to expand his sound while staying rooted in raw honesty and shared catharsis.
