Oliver McGowan Tier 2 Training

This training is required for all health and social care staff who come into contact with anyone who has a learning disability or autism.

IMPORTANT COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

• Learner must have completed Oliver McGowan Tier 1 (e-learning)
• Learner must show photo ID on the day

All attendees wanting to complete the Tier 2 must have competed Tier 1 training. The Oliver McGowan Tier 1 e-learning can done for free via NHS England. You must provide a copy of your certificate via email for the trainers to see or you will not be able to attend the course.

This face to face, in person course runs from 0930 to 430 pm with an hour lunch break. There will be 2 co-trainers in attendance, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. These co-trainers are qualified to deliver the Oliver McGowan training - one having lived in experience of learning disability and one having lived in experience of autism.
