About this Event

The festival will feature a choir singing traditional Palestinian folk songs, children's storytime and other activities, a souq market, a debka performance, a poetry performance, an exhibit of the festival we have hosted at The Jerusalem Fund since 1977, and more traditional Olive Harvest activities. Historically, TJF has welcomed our community and hosted one of the first Olive Harvest Festival's in the Washington, DC area as the oldest Palestine center. We will spend the day rooting ourselves in the traditions our people on the ground in Palestine have celebrated for generations.
