Older Adult Tu Bishvat Seder

Join us for a celebration of our relationship with nature!

Tu Bishvat, or The Birthday of the Trees, is a Jewish festival that celebrates the beginning of Springtime in Israel and the Middle East.

The Tu Bishvat Seder is a time to reflect and examine how we connect to the natural world around us, and especially to fruit trees. This is an opportunity for us to envision, both collectively and individually, how we can be partners in shaping and healing our natural world.

The Tu Bishvat Seder consists of four sections, each marked by a different color of wine or grape juice, and a sampling of different types of fruits and nuts. Together, we will explore the symbolism of each of these sections while enjoying yummy treats!
