A cherished Portsmouth tradition, the Olde Towne Scottish Walk rings in the New Year with bagpipes, drums and community pride. Modeled after Scotland’s Hogmanay Festival, this spirited procession honors friends, merchants and neighbors while wishing all good luck and prosperity in the year ahead.Join the free walk beginning at 4:30 p.m., led by pipes and drums through historic Olde Towne, ending at High Street Landing for a flag ceremony and the singing of Auld Lang Syne.
Come dressed in tartan (optional), bring the family and share in a celebration of heritage, community and hope for the year to come.

• Free parking throughout Olde Towne
• Hot chocolate and coffee available before the walk at St. John’s Episcopal Church
