Join us as we celebrate Old Timers Day, honoring Choctaw’s rich history as the oldest chartered city in Oklahoma! Named after the Choctaw Coal and Railway Company, this annual event brings the community together with a parade and festival filled with fun and tradition. This year, we’re turning down the heat—literally!
The weather at last year’s Old Timers’ Day celebration roasted everyone with 100+ degree heat, so we have moved the celebration to a cooler date—chosen intentionally to help kick off Homecoming Spirit Week! The theme for the event is "Legacy and Lights."
Old Timers’ Day this year will be held on Saturday, October 4th 10 AM – 6 PM.
We’ll be celebrating the town’s founding and the start of Spirit Week all in one!
The Old Timers’ Day/Homecoming Parade will be Thursday, October 9th at 6 PM.
The route will once again be down 23rd Street starting at Market Blvd. and proceeding to Choctaw Creek Park.
