 FIGURE MUST BE PURCHASED FROM OSG
 ENTRY FEE is the purchase price of your figure
o Sign up sheet must be filled out with your name and contact information, the name of the piece you purchased, and the purchase date. Staff will help with this at the time of purchase.
 FIGURES ARE TO BE SINGLE PIECE, 53mm (2 inches) OR SHORTER
 Figures are to be dropped off the weekend of November 23-24.
 Figures will be displayed from November 25 through January 1.
 The winner will be announced on January 2, 2025, via our Facebook page and you will be contacted by a staff member.
 The judges’ choice will win the “The Army Painter Fanatic Mega Paint Set”. Set includes 50 paints, and a paint station valued at $200.00
 The People’s Choice winner receives $75.00 in store credit.
JUDGING CRITERIA:
Each entry will be blindly judged by our team of 3 judges, and one standby judge will assist as needed to break any ties. Entrants will be awarded points based on difficulty, creativity, workmanship, painting skill, and overall presentation. The judges will use scorecards to score and critique the entries. Scoring will be on a scale of 1-5. Maximum score is 25 points.
All entries will be judged on the following five criteria:
Difficulty- complexity of the piece and techniques used, by the painting, sculpting, design, & composition.
Creativity- use of innovation & use of new or unusual techniques, concepts, color schemes, arrangements, & added details.
Workmanship- Judges will be looking at technical precision in preparation, cleaning, & construction. Meticulous removal or resurfacing of flaws in a piece, seamless joints, well-constructed base, clean and appropriate modifications and precision in original sculpts.
Painting Skill- this is a painting contest so the judges will be looking closely at the techniques used, and overall effects-> shading, fine details, contrasts etc.
Presentation- overall look of the piece! Judges will be looking for good use of color, highlighting and shadows, etc.
