Step right up for Couplets — a charming slice of suitcase theatre from Old Rope Productions, where Cumbrian award-winning actors Sarah Waters and Jason Munn unpack a whole world of Edwardian wit, romance, and mischief before your very eyes.
With nothing more than a few props and a good deal of theatrical magic, this delightful travelling company presents two sparkling short plays: “The Constant Lover” by St. John Hankin & “Yesterday” by C.C. Clements.
Join us from 1:30pm to settle in, with the performance beginning at 2:00pm. At the interval, the show pauses for you to enjoy a 30-minute cream tea break featuring scones piled high with cream and strawberries, plus your choice of tea or coffee.
Tickets are £10 for both plays. Add cream tea: scones with cream and strawberries, and tea or coffee for £5 per person.
