Old People Are Cool was created by Linked Senior to confront the harmful ageism we believe prevents our communities from reaching their maximum potential.In 2022, Old People Are Cool Day was created in Houston at a sister community and 2026 will be our second year to celebrate the lives of old people in Tyler, Texas. It is so important that we continue to honor and acknowledge the work, contributions, and legacy of older adults, and to fight against ageism and to show what they are still capable of doing.
