The rumours are true! We’re thrilled to officially announce Clapham Common will play host to an Oktoberfest celebration this year, the likes of which London has never seen. From the 5th - 8th of October, Oktoberfest on the Common will combine the best of traditional Bavarian breweries, Oompah brass bands, live music, keg-tapping ceremonies, giant beer tents, fairground rides, axe throwing, hammerschlagen, stage games, photo booths, Deutsch dancing and the all important bratwurst and pretzels. This will be the best Oktoberfest experience outside of Munich!Clapham Common will be turned into a mini Wies'n for the weekend so unleash those lederhosen and dust-off your dirndls, as this is a night worth getting dressed up for.
