Something new is brewing in North Aurora... our very first Oktoberfest! For those unfamiliar, Oktoberfest is a traditional German autumn festival taking place from late September into early October and features beer drinking, traditional food, activities and polka music!
The Village's Oktoberfest will be taking place on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 12pm - 10pm at North Aurora Riverfront Park (25 East State Street). The event is FREE to attend, but anyone wishing to drink will need to purchase a drink package containing a Village of North Aurora beer stein and drink tickets. Discounted pre-event drink packages are currently available on the Village website through September 22.
Our Oktoberfest event will feature beer from four breweries -- raise a stein to Brother Chimp Brewing, Penrose Brewing, Pollyanna Brewing Company and Riggs Beer Company -- Oktoberfest themed food offerings, live music featuring multiple polka bands, Oktoberfest and fall-themed contests and activities (including stein holding, stein racing, dachshund racing, pretzel toss and pumpkin painting!) and a great community! We'll say Prost! to that!
