Prost to our Fourth Annual Oktoberfest!!🍻

Join us for our biggest Oktoberfest celebration yet as we kick off the Southbound Food Festival's Hosted Series, a week-long series of collaborative dining experiences across Birmingham.

Celebrate with us at The Son of a Butcher on Sunday, September 20th, from 1-5 pm for an afternoon parking lot party filled with incredible food, great drinks, live music, and festive fun.

We'll be firing up the grill with German festival favorites, including our housemade sausages, gourmet sides, and other Oktoberfest-inspired

specialties. Pair your plate with Oktoberfest beers from local breweries or enjoy German-style wines if beer isn't your thing.

Located in the Pepper Place District in front of our shop, this festival also features live music and pop-ups from your favorite local vendors. Shop handcrafted goods, artisan makers, local farmers, freshly baked desserts, and more while enjoying the Oktoberfest festivities. Plus, the butcher shop will be open during the event for the rare opportunity to shop with us on a Sunday.

Eat, drink, shop, and celebrate Oktoberfest with us while kicking off an unforgettable week of Southbound Hosted events across Birmingham. And when the festivities wrap up, keep the celebration going at Hop City just across the district, where Oktoberfest beers will be flowing on tap until 7 pm! Dirndls and lederhosen are highly encouraged!
