Beaumont-Cherry Valley Recreation and Park District’s 34th Annual King Ludwig's Oktoberfest has been postponed from October to NOVEMBER!

Admission to this family-friendly Oktoberfest is FREE, however there is a parking fee of $5 per vehicle daily, payable with cash or card at the west entrance of the park.

We're striving to make this event authentically German, including real german food, German music, traditional Oktoberfest competitive events, beautiful photo opportunities and more! YES, come in your favorite lederhosen or dirndl - traditional German attire is always welcome and encouraged but not required!

So, why the date change? (Original dates were October 3-6.)
The Line Fire burning in the nearby San Bernardino Mountains caused our park to be designated for use as a Fire Camp September 7, 2024. That meant all regularly scheduled activities and events here at the park were canceled until further notice as fire-fighting resources of all types and sizes moved in. Noble Creek Regional Park is always at the ready to be used in this way (it was designed and improved with fire camps in mind) and numerous agencies from around the U.S. joined forces to battle the Line Fire and used our park as their incident command post. Approximately 3,000 firefighters and personnel moved onto Noble Creek’s fields within days, turned it into their self-sustaining home base and they’re still here. We are proud to have a spot large enough and with enough of the special features needed to allow for so much heavy equipment to be parked here to join in the fire effort. However, fire is unpredictable and although as of 9/18/24 the containment on the nearly 40k acre fire is at 50%, we don’t have a definitive end date to the need for this Fire Camp. THEREFORE, we have decided to push our Oktoberfest to a more fitting date - November 1-3, 2024. This extra time allows us to utilize more time and preparation to get our fields back in shape after the last crews from the fire fight leave the park. An event the size of our annual Oktoberfest takes lots of time and prep for setup and we need those fields to be ready for all the fun we have in store for you! Moving the event to the first weekend of November was a no-brainer in light of other events around the community and scheduled events for our park.
