Oktoberfest 10k Virtual Race

Date of Challenge: From 21st September to 6th October 2024

It is the largest and arguably, the most famous beer festival in the world, Oktoberfest.

This festival dates back to 1810 in Munich, Germany. On the 12th of October of that year, the future King Ludwig got married and invited the entire city to attend the celebration, which consisted of a large feast.

214 years later, Oktoberfest is celebrated by over 6 million people. Famous for its beer and traditional folk music, the Oktoberfest attracts visitors to Munich for a two week party.

WHAT’S INVOLVED?

Run, walk or jog 10k during the entire Oktoberfest festival (from 21st September to 6th October 2024).

Distances accepted: 10k. We also accept treadmill activities.
