OKC Out of the Darkness Community Walk
Whether you're coming solo, bringing a friend, or building a team—you belong here.
This walk is open to everyone: survivors of suicide loss, those with lived experience, friends, families, coworkers, students, community organizations, and anyone who believes in the importance of mental health and hope. Whether you walk in memory, in support, or in solidarity, you are welcome here.
Event Details:
Registration begins at 8:00 AM
Walk kickoff begins at 9:00 AM
Register in advance at afsp.org/okc
Before the walk begins, participants are invited to visit resource tables and connect with community partners offering support, education, and resources. It’s a space to learn, reflect, and come together with others who understand the importance of this mission.
At 9:00 AM, we’ll gather to begin the walk as one community—honoring loved ones, sharing stories, and stepping forward in hope.
The Oklahoma City Out of the Darkness Walk is the largest annual fundraiser supporting suicide prevention efforts across Oklahoma, helping fund research, education programs, advocacy, and community-based initiatives that save lives.
This is the first of six Out of the Darkness Walks happening across Oklahoma in 2026, each one bringing together local communities united by hope, healing, and prevention.
Come as you are. Walk for someone you love. Walk for yourself. Walk for hope.
We hope to see you there.
