The Old Independence Regional Museum is hosting its annual Fall Family Day in Batesville on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This year's event will explore the history of agriculture and homesteading in Arkansas.
Bring the whole family for a day of hands-on activities, historic crafts, live demonstrations, and a vendor market. Farm Bureau will present its Dairy Classroom featuring a simulated cow. Visitors can also enjoy traditional crafts and games, including making corn husk dolls and playing with corn cob darts.
Fall Family Day is free and open to the public. Join us on Saturday, September 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for a fun-filled day of history, learning, and family activities.
