Do you desire to paint a realistic portrait? Learn how to paint a realistic portrait using only four colors!
In this portrait painting class, students will learn how to mix flesh tones using a limited color palette. They will experience the joy of painting an all prima portrait made simple. At the end of this class, students will leave with a portrait made with only four colors! No experience necessary.
Please bring a photograph to use as a reference.
Students are welcome to bring their own supplies or use the art center's at no additional cost. If bringing your own supplies, you'll want to have: oil paints - ivory, black, cadmium red, yellow ochre, titanium white, brushes, linseed oil, mineral spirits, a palette, a palette knife, a 9X12" canvas, and tape. Anything you don't have in your kit, Creston Arts will supply.
