Oil paints are one of the most recognized mediums associated with painting. In this two-day beginner class with Glenda Bowles, learn the fundamentals of this widely-used medium. Gain an understanding of the supplies needed and how to prepare paints, build layers, capture light sources and create your own compositions.
You will need to bring your own canvas, paint, brushes and a sack lunch for a break halfway through the class.
This two-day class is scheduled Saturdays, Dec. 7 & 14, 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. each day at the Pellissippi State Community College Hardin Valley Campus. Parking on campus is free.
Registration is $150.
