Join the Friends of the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail for our first-ever workday!
In partnership with the Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park and MBC Parks & Beautification, we’re coming together to help care for this important community asset.
𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻: Sunday, October 18, 2026 | 9–11 AM
𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲: Meet at the MLK Jr. Blvd. Riverwalk Access
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁: Trash pickup and light landscaping
𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀:
- Parking location is being confirmed and will be updated soon.
- Power tools are not permitted - small limb loppers, leaf blowers, and rakes are okay to use.
- Our friends at OMNHP will provide trash grabbers and bags and will be on hand during the workday.
- All participants will have to sign, as we're working on National Park Service land.
Come help us take care of the trail!
