OHS Canada Training Day brings together some of the most in demand safety training in one focused, high impact experience. Whether you’re refreshing essential skills or stepping into new responsibilities, this is your opportunity to invest in knowledge that protects you, your team, and your job site.
Throughout the day, you’ll learn from experienced instructors, take part in hands on training, and gain practical skills you can apply immediately – from working safely at heights and entering confined spaces to responding to emergencies with confidence. Every course is designed to meet industry standards and features real-world scenarios that reflect the challenges workers face every day.

Working at Heights Certification (8 hours)
Info: During this Ontario Ministry of Labour Chief Prevention Officer (CPO)-approved training course, students will learn basic working at heights theory and complete the required practical components.
Expert trainers will cover all key theoretical and practical fundamentals for fall protection to ensure students understand and can implement the key concepts of working safely at heights on the job site when needed.
Upon completion of the training, students will receive a QR coded certificate that is valid for three years from the date of issue.
Lunch is included in the registration fee for this course.

Confined Space Entry Certification (8 hours)
Info: This course provides students with the knowledge and skills to be able to work safely in a confined space environment.
Led by expert instructors, the course focuses on Ontario Regulation 632/05, the province’s Occupational Health and Safety Act, air monitoring and personal protective equipment. Training includes simulated classroom scenarios and live entries.
This program ensures that each student is given the required information and tools to enter confined spaces confidently and safely.

Blended Standard First Aid Certification (8 hours)
Info: This comprehensive course offers first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home.
The course is designed to give students the knowledge and ability to perform basic medical skills required to respond during an emergency. The training includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines. It also meets federal and various provincial/territorial regulations for standard first aid and CPR.
Unlike in other courses, students will also learn injury prevention, CPR and how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED).
Upon completion of this training, students will receive a three-year certification in Standard First Aid, CPR Level C, and AED.

Lockout/Tagout (4 hours)
Info: Hazardous energy exists in many forms across a diverse range of industries across Canada. The primary goal of lockout/tagout, or LOTO, is to prevent the unexpected startup of machinery or equipment, which could pose a serious risk to the safety of workers performing maintenance tasks. All workers involved in LOTO procedures must undergo training in safe lockout and tagout methods.
This course, mandated by numerous industries, provides comprehensive guidance while highlighting crucial LOTO principles.

Portable Fire Extinguisher Training (2 hours)
Info: In this portable fire extinguisher course, students will learn how fires start, the different classes of fire, and the correct method for extinguishing each class through videos, demonstrations, and a live fire scenario.
