This will be a joint event between the Pinto Car Club of America, and the MCCI. This will once again be a “Pinto vs. Maverick vs. Mustang II” Challenge. The weekend starts on Friday Night we will cruise the backroads in search of covered bridges and wineries . On Saturday, the club with the most cars in attendance that morning will get to lead the caravan through town. Geneva-On-The-Lake is like driving thru a strip of restaurants, bars, shops, amusement rides and gaming from the 1950′s and 1960′s right on the beautiful backdrop setting of Lake Erie. “The Strip” is packed with visitors in the summer and we will be parked at the park just a 2-3 minute walk from the strip… fun for the whole family! We have reserved a large pavilion with grills for a picnic just behind the displayed cars in the park, located at 5045 Lake Road East (SR 531). Picnic Lunch at Noon. Hamburgers, hot dogs, and all the fixin’s provided. If you bring a Maverick/Comet or a Pinto/Bobcat, bring a side dish. If you bring a Mustang II, bring a desert (electricity available). Bring your own beverages. Dash plaques, door prizes, music, top 3 awards, and fun! This event will begin at the former “Chops Grille and Taphouse” parking lot, 1752 S. Broadway, Geneva, OH 44041, across from the Motel 6 at the S.R. 534 exit off I-90 at 10:00am SHARP and we will leave in caravan style. We’ll caravan 5-6 miles to town, thru “The Strip”, to the park.
