Oh, To Be a Zoologist, for ages 7-9Are you ready to become a zoologist? Lace up your boots and get ready for a wild week! Campers will really be “boots on the ground” in this camp as they learn all about wildlife and the scientists who study them. Come with us as we get into the nitty gritty of the natural world!

Attention all superheroes! Did you know that animals have superpowers, too? Animals and their impressive abilities were the inspiration behind many of the superheroes you know and love! Come discover just how super the animals that call our world home can be!

Join us on this journey around the world! In this camp, we will be learning all about the different ecosystems across the globe and the animals that call them home. Campers will discover ways to protect every ecosystem and its unique inhabitants!

Calling all future zookeepers! Do you know what it takes to run a zoo? Join us as we explore Austin Zoo to learn all about why zoos are so important and how each department does their part to help the animals. Use your knowledge and creative skills to design your very own zoo!

For Ages 11-14
Do you have a passion for animals? Do you love to care for pets? Learn the ins and outs of how zookeepers care for animals through diet, enrichment, natural habitat creation, maintenance, and working with the public. Meet our zookeepers and learn how they care for our fascinating animal residents.
