Indiana Drama Club Presents: Oh the Drama! A Night of Scenes, Songs, Sashays & a Silent AuctionGet ready for an unforgettable evening as the Indiana Drama Club takes the stage for their 2nd annual Oh the Drama event! Mark your calendars for Friday, January 10th at 7:00 PM at Arts for Lawrence, where a night of dazzling performances, heart-pounding music, and a dash of glamor awaits. This year, it's bigger and better than ever, and you won't want to miss a minute of the action!
A Night of Talent & Elegance
Whether you’re a theater enthusiast or simply looking for a fun, formal night out, Oh the Drama has something for everyone. The event will feature a variety of performances from students who will be competing at the State Thespian Conference January 24-26th. These talented young actors, singers, and dancers will be showcasing their skills in a series of exciting scenes and songs — a perfect preview of the performances that will wow at the State competition. Expect to see everything from monologues and group scenes to musical numbers that will leave you humming for days.
But that’s not all! In the spirit of “drama,” you can also look forward to some lively sashays — because who says you can’t mix a little bit of dance and flair with your drama?
A Silent Auction with Big Surprises
This year’s silent auction is not to be missed! We’ve partnered with incredible local organizations to bring you a treasure trove of unique items and experiences. Up for bid are donations from the Indianapolis Zoo, IndyEleven, Dance Kaleidoscope, and more. Whether you're a fan of arts and culture or looking for something special for your next adventure, there's sure to be something for you.
The funds raised from the silent auction will support future events and programs for the Indiana Drama Club in the 2025-2026 season, helping us continue to provide opportunities for young performers to develop their craft and grow as artists.
A Sneak Peek at the World Premiere of Super Cyber Battle Rangers
As an extra special treat, you may get to bid on some of the props and costumes from the World Premiere production of Super Cyber Battle Rangers. This thrilling new play was a cutting-edge addition to our season, and we're excited to give you a piece of the magic to take home.
Dress to Impress
Oh the Drama is a formal event, so dress to impress! Think glamorous, think red carpet, think of the kind of outfit that says, “I’m here to see something spectacular.” Whether you're showing up in a cocktail dress or a sharp suit, this is your chance to shine alongside the stars of the evening.
Finger Foods & a Photo Booth
After the performance, join us for some light finger foods to snack on while you mingle with fellow theater lovers. And don’t forget to strike a pose at our photo booth! Capture the magic of the night with friends, family, and fellow drama enthusiasts.

Tickets for Oh the Drama are available online for just $15, or you can purchase them at the door for $20. Seating is limited, so we highly recommend getting your tickets early to guarantee a spot at this not-to-be-missed event!
