OH FUDGE: A Beginner’s Guide to Navigating Mental Health in a Noisy World
Description:
Your mental health doesn’t stay at home when you walk into work — and neither do your stress, emotions, habits, or headspace. As our lives and businesses become increasingly connected to the digital world, learning how to recognize what’s affecting us and what we can do about it has never been more important.
As business owners, entrepreneurs, leaders, partners, parents, and humans, we’re constantly juggling competing demands. Stress can show up in ways we don’t always recognize — physically, emotionally, interpersonally, and professionally. When we’re stuck in “push through it” mode, those signals can be easy to overlook until they turn into exhaustion, disconnection, or burnout.
OH FUDGE is an approachable, beginner-friendly workshop designed to make conversations about mental health feel less intimidating and a lot more actionable. Led by Becky Mickletz, a Denver-based brand designer at Remickz Marketing and Mental Health First Aid instructor, this interactive session combines practical tips, simple exercises, honest conversation, and real-world strategies for taking better care of your mental health — and understanding how it directly impacts the way you work and do business.
Together, we’ll explore how to:
• Recognize signs that your mental health may need some attention — before you hit the wall
• Identify stressors and patterns that can affect your focus, energy, relationships, and business
• Use simple exercises and tools to create more space for clarity, calm, and the “good stuff”
• Navigate the noise of digital life and the always-on nature of modern business
• Have healthier conversations about mental health with yourself, your team, clients, and the people you care about
• Build small, sustainable habits that support both personal well-being and professional success
Because taking care of your headspace isn’t separate from running a healthy business — it’s part of the business.
Come for the tips. Stay for the conversations. Leave with a few tools you can actually use.
