White-tailed deer are some of the most visible and beloved animals in Newport News Park, and are often seen either slowly grazing, or leaping their way through the Park’s woods and open areas. Many people know of these iconic animals, but how much do you know about them? From their fascinating survival adaptations, what they eat throughout the year, to why they grow those antlers every year - if you and your family would like to learn more about them, leap on down to the Discovery Center and ruminate on some deer facts!Age Recommendation: All Ages
This free educational program will take place on Saturday, March 14th at 11 AM and 2 PM at the Discovery Center in Newport News Park.
