Ofrenda/Altars at Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead)

All are invited to create an ofrenda/altar at Sunset Mercantile's 2024 Dia De Los Muertos festival to celebrate the life and memory of your loved ones!

The event is on 37th Ave between Ortega and Pacheco St from 6pm-10pm. Ofrendas can be set up on the green space anytime before or during the event. We are not responsible for displays after the event is over so please pick them up when you leave.

Decorate with flowers, photos, lights, etc. Non-flammable light sources should be used for lighting as the event will get dark (NO FLAMES!). Besides that, there are no rules to your set up. Be as simple or extravagant as you'd like.

Additionally, enjoy Ballet Folklorico dancing, a live cumbia DJ, arts & crafts, and a photo booth onsite at the ARTSHIP!
