Toronto-based creative label L’Uomo Strano explores the intersection of fashion, identity, and social futurity through sculptural garments, experimental textiles, and radical self-expression. Known for pushing beyond traditional runway formats, the brand creates emotionally charged worlds where fashion becomes art, performance, and cultural dialogue.

As night falls, the historic Hudson’s Bay floor transforms into a runway stage for featured presentations by L’Uomo Strano and Charles Lu.

Please note: access to the daytime shopping and cultural marketplace is free, but the evening runway show requires a separate ticket purchase.

The 3rd floor showroom remains open throughout the evening for shopping, networking, and community gathering.

This is a rare opportunity to experience the full strength of Canada’s fashion community under one roof, inside one of Toronto’s most meaningful fashion spaces.

Running May 25–31, 2026, Fashion Art Toronto brings together 50+ designers, artists, and brands through a city-wide program of runway shows, immersive offsite experiences, exhibitions, retail marketplaces, and free public activations.

This season launches the theme Toronto, Show Yourself — a bold call for visibility, confidence, and pride across the city’s fashion community.

Fashion Art Toronto officially launches Fashion Week SS26 by reclaiming one of the city’s most iconic luxury fashion spaces.

For one day only, the legendary former Saks Fifth Avenue / The Room designer floor is transformed into THE (SHOW) ROOM — a large-scale cultural fashion marketplace and immersive retail takeover celebrating the full spectrum of Canadian fashion creativity.

More than a shopping event, this is a symbolic reopening of a landmark Toronto fashion destination through the lens of local designers, emerging talent, fashion institutions, and cultural storytelling.

Guests are invited to spend the day exploring a dynamic environment where fashion, culture, art, and commerce collide.
