The spectacular Official Opening Ceremony of The Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta is steeped in history, and takes place on the Bandstand, in the Royal Avenue Gardens in the heart of Dartmouth.This traditional ceremony is the start of Regatta, with everyone welcome to come along as a spectator, enjoy the proceedings, and start getting into the Regatta spirit.
Following the Opening Ceremony, the marching band will perform the Ceremonial Sunset and Beat the Retreat on the South Embankment, and then the live music will get the party started as The 181st Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta begins!
