Join us at the Wildflower Garden for a guided adventure along one of our more challenging trails, the Mueller Track.We’ll pass through pockets of lush growth along the creek and have plenty of chances to spot local birdlife and other wildlife, while picking up on the smaller details of the bush that are easy to miss on your own. A visit to Whipbird Gully along the way also offers potential to encounter resident native frogs and turtles.
Please wear sturdy footwear and bring sun protection and a water bottle. This is a strenuous walk with uneven terrain and some steep sections, so a moderate to high level of mobility and fitness is required.
Not suitable for children under 12 years of age.
The Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden is one of Sydney's best kept secrets, set across 123 hectares of unique urban bushland and home to two endangered ecological communities as well as 18 threatened species of flora and fauna. The Wildflower Garden is open to the public all year round and has a range of hikes, step-free walking tracks, picnic areas and heritage venue hire as well as a diverse calendar of environmental education programs.
