This is class three of a 5-part series of Off-Flavor beer schools led by the Sandy Valley Brewer, Kyle M! Once a month, we will have a class that covers 5 new flavors in beer that are considered "off". This series will go from November through March, with each class being limited to 10 people, and being independent of the other classes. Sign up for all of them, or just one! Each class is $15 and includes a pour of beer to serve as your control beer. this beer will be to enjoy and to compare the other flavors to in order to more easily detect them. Additional pours of the control beer will be available to all participants at a deep discount for the remainder of the evening. You will also get a sample pour (2-3 ounces) of each of 5 off flavors for that class. Kyle will lead you through your tasting, explaining what you are tasting, and the how and why it gets into beer! This is a fascinating class to satisfy knowledge for the truly inquisitive beer drinker. This tasting kit comes from the world-renowned Siebel Institute of Technology in Germany and is used for training those who are seeking their Cicerone certification.
