Here is a good description in John's words what he will be sharing with us.O’Fallon Photo Club: My upcoming presentation will provide an overview of the 2025 updates in Lightroom. Building on our previous discussions about creating AI prompts and adaptive presets, we'll explore some of the new tools Adobe has added to our post processing toolkit, including one that is currently in early access.
I’ll cover the new features released in February and June of 2025:
• Adaptive Profiles give you a new way to auto tone your image with more refined control.
• AI-powered Masking expands to landscapes, to simplify your selections.
• Distraction Removal tools, giving you the ability to remove unwanted people and reflections from your photos.
• AI-Enhance features for denoising, super resolution, and details no longer require you to create a new DNG file.
• An introduction to “Variance” an Early Access features within the Color Mixer
Additionally, we will review Lightroom's various color tools and when you might want to choose one over another to help you dial in exactly the color you want in your images.
