October Urbanism Happy Hour- VCC Redevelopment

Come learn about the transformation of VA Center Commons (known by locals as "VCC") amongst planning colleagues in an informal happy hour setting. Panelists will discuss the visioning/charette process that led to the form-based overlay zoning district for the area; the private interest/investment in the area; and the Henrico Sports & Events Center. Attendees will then walk from Intermission Beer Company to the Henrico Sports & Events Center to see the transformation in the area first-hand.

DATE/TIME: Wednesday, October 1st 5:30 PM-7 PM (presentation at 6 PM, walk at around 6:30 PM)

LOCATION: Intermission Beer Company VCC Location (10089 Brook Road, Unit A)

DRESS: Casual (wear comfortable walking shoes)
