October Progressive Classes (4-week series) - Intro to Swing and Intermediate Lindy Hop.

We are so excited that Martin and Cara Shivers will be teaching our October and November Progressive Lessons.
Our Progressive Lessons continue in October at the Northside Aztlan Community Center.
This series will start on Wednesday, October 7thd and will run until Wedenesday, October 28th.
We will be offering an Introduction to Swing Dancing class from 6:30-7:30 and Intermediate Lindy Hop/Community Routine class from 7:30-8:30.
We are excited that Martin and Cara will be teaching this month's classes.
Because this is a four-week series, we will be charging $40 for one progressive series. That averages out to about $10 a class! If you would like to take both classes we will be offering the second class at 1/2 price.
We take Venmo (@NoCo-SwingDance ) or cash or check on or before the first night of the class. Please arrive early so we can get you checked in. Also, if you know you will be attending, please email us so we can get a head count at [email protected].
6:30 PM - Introduction to Swing with Martin and Cara.
This class is for anyone looking to learn and build confidence with the fundamentals of swing dancing. We’ll explore basic 6- and 8-count footwork, leading and following, and the skills that help you feel relaxed dancing with different partners and confident on the social dance floor. Along the way, we’ll introduce the connection, movement, and playfulness at the heart of Lindy Hop.
7:30 PM - Intermediate Lindy Hop with with Martin and Cara.
This class is for swing dancers who have a solid feel for the basic footwork and are comfortable with leading and following. We’ll explore more complex shapes and footwork, play with improvisation and musicality, and develop more subtle ways of connecting and communicating with a dance partner.
Please remember that NoCo Swing Dance is a very beginner friendly community, and we absolutely love new dancers.
No partner is ever needed.
