October Monthly Meeting

📣 Come out and Join us!
VFW Post 2922 – Oakdale, CA
**OAKDALE-AREA VETERANS — CONSIDER THIS YOUR INVITATION.**
At our last meeting, we were fortunate to have a few veterans from our community who were new to us stop by, sit down, enjoy a great rib dinner, and spend some time getting to know the members of **Romain Schell VFW Post 2922**.
We’d really like to see that continue.
So, to the veterans around Oakdale who have been following us on Facebook, reading our posts, or maybe thinking for a while, *“One of these days I ought to stop by…”*
**Make October 14th that day.**
You don’t need to know anyone. You don’t need to walk through the door ready to join. And you certainly don’t need to make any commitment.
**Just come have dinner with us. Shake a few hands. Meet some fellow veterans. See what your local VFW is all about.**
And since the ribs went over pretty well last month, we decided we’d better **up our game for October.**
**Dinner will be a preview of the AMAZING gourmet lasagna we’ll be serving at our Veterans Appreciation Dinner in November.**
 **Wednesday, October 14**
 **Dinner — 6:00 PM**
 **Meeting — 7:00 PM**
**Gene Bianchi Community Center — Oakdale**
If you served and have been patiently standing on the sidelines wondering whether the VFW might be for you, **take the plunge and stop by.**
If you are interested in Joining, simply drop by our website to get things rolling: https://oakdalevfw.com/membership.html
Worst case? You get a great lasagna dinner and meet some good people.
Best case? **You might discover a group of veterans and a place in your own community that you’re glad you finally walked into.**
We’ll save you a seat.
