October Meetup — Reading Real Estate Hackers
About this Event
If you've ever wondered what it really takes to build lasting wealth through real estate — not just in a bull market, but through the full cycle — this is the night to show up.
On Monday, October 6th from 6:30–8:30 PM, we're welcoming a Lancaster County real estate investor to the stage at Reading Airport (across from Klinger's Restaurant).
His real estate journey began in 2015 with little more than ambition and a desire for freedom. He left a comfortable job, launched both his investing and sales careers, and bought a distressed eight-bedroom rooming house. He renovated it, leased it, refinanced it, and repeated the process — executing the BRRRR strategy before he knew it had a name.
One deal led to the next, and over time his portfolio grew into 120+ apartments and single-family homes, along with some commercial properties, including a 150,000-square-foot commercial complex. Nearly all of these investments are located right here in Lancaster County.
Alongside investing, he has built a very rewarding real estate sales business. Over the years, he has been involved in approaching 1,000 transactions representing hundreds of millions of dollars in real estate volume. The relationships built through that business have been every bit as rewarding as the deals themselves.
In 2021, he partnered with three exceptional business partners to build a timberland portfolio, with an eye for development opportunities in solar and energy, data centers, and other land-intensive uses. Together with a small group of investors, they now own more than 25,000 acres across four states and are just getting started.
From the beginning, his investment philosophy has been simple: live well below your means, reinvest aggressively, and let time do the heavy lifting. He has focused on long-term ownership, disciplined growth, and tax-efficient strategies such as cost segregation, accelerated depreciation, and 1031 exchanges to maximize compounding.
The strategy has always been simple: buy good assets, reinvest aggressively, stay patient, and let compounding do what it does. The numbers have changed over the years, but the mission is the same — build wealth, create opportunities for others, and have a lot of fun along the way.
This is not a pitch fest. This is real education from someone who has been doing this at a high level for a long time.
Come ready to network with investors, lenders, contractors, vendors, and fellow community builders.
