About Worms Waste Not
In 2024, inspired by a quote and a desire to contribute to her community, Rachel Frick-Cardelle founded Worms Waste Not. After relocating to the area in 2021 with an open mind and an uncertain path, she was drawn to the region’s deep-rooted environmental values and close-knit, sustainability-minded community. When a local food waste hauling service shut down, she stepped in to fill the gap—turning curiosity into commitment. With her trusty dog Yeobo, and now her new business partner Meghan Cassidy by her side- they lead WWN in helping households and businesses reduce their waste footprint—one compost bin at a time. They work closely with Two Fox Farms in Hartwick to help convert your food waste into nutrient rich compost.
