October Farm Tour Friday

Join Cabarrus Cooperative Extension for Farm Tour Friday—meet local farmers, see where food comes from, and explore local agriculture.
About this Event

Join Cabarrus County Cooperative Extension for Farm Tour Friday as we visit the Lomax Incubator Farm, a local agricultural incubator helping new and beginning farmers grow their businesses and gain hands-on farming experience.

During this guided tour, you'll learn more about the incubator farm model, hear about the farmers and operations at Lomax, and see firsthand how the farm supports the development of local agriculture and new farming enterprises. This is a great opportunity to learn more about farming in Cabarrus County and the resources available to beginning farmers.

Whether you're interested in agriculture, curious about where your food comes from, or simply want to learn more about local farming, we hope you'll join us for a morning on the farm!
