Saturday Oct 10 - Tour de Chicken Creek. Our annual Gravel Grinder is the day before Octoginta - two distances, rolling hills and great scenery.
Sunday Oct 11 - Octoginta 57. The Octoginta road ride is our Granddaddy fall ride. Since 1969, riders have celebrated the end of the cycling season by tackling 80 miles on the great paved roads around Lawrence. Shorter routes are also available.
Also Sunday Oct 11 - EXPO & Bike Gear Sale. After your Octoginta ride, rub elbows with cycling community groups and organizations at the EXPO and pick up some previously used bikes and bike gear that you "need" at the LBC Bike Gear sale - proceeds go to the LBC Buy a Kid a Bike program.
