We look forward to seeing you there!!

What is bal folk dancing, you ask? It is a very valid question. Bal folk comes from France (literally means “folk ball”) and is essentially a French version of an Australian bush dance. A wide variety of European dances (especially French) are enjoyed at these events: line dances, circle dances, progressive dances, couples dances, and occasionally some
solo dances. The main goal of bal folk dancing is to get people together to have fun, connect with other people and find community through dance. Bal folk has slowly been spreading from France to many other countries, and we are very excited that it has now made it to Perth and is thriving!
