Things are getting artfully eerie this October! Join us for a spellbinding evening of creativity and spooky surprises during Ogden’s Art Stroll. We’re thrilled to feature the beautiful oil paintings of Charis.
Wander through the Collective and discover creepy-cute crafts, fall-inspired artwork, and maybe even a ghost or two hiding among the masterpieces. Costumes welcome—witch hats encouraged. Let’s make it a night to dismember—I mean, remember!
Art Stroll is on Friday, October 3rd, 2025! The store will be open late from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm; with the store being open until 10pm for shopping.
Our Featured Artist is Charis Derry.
Born and raised in Santa Cruz, California. Educated at ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena. Worked on the West Coast. Married in Monterey. Then lived and worked in Hawaii as an artist & art teacher for 9 awesome years on Oahu. Recently said goodbye to island life and moved the fam to Syracuse, Utah. Painting, designing, teaching, and momming 2 kiddos night and day!
Stop by to see her live painting with oils. You won't want to miss the chance to see her new pieces, ask questions and get to see a true artists at work.

Classes and Events happening during the Art Stroll:
-6:00 to 9:00: Don’t just see the art—experience it. Charis will be painting live, giving you a front-row seat to her mesmerizing process and signature style. Once you fall in love with her art like are you go shopping BOGO! This is for the Art Stroll ONLY! And because Charis is the coolest, she is also doing 2 Drawing for paintings! Find her in front of the store.
-6:00 to 9:00: Music @ the Collective. Stay tuned to learn what amazing music you can hear and what times they will be playing!
-6:00 to 9:00: Mike will be blowing glass and creating amazing lampwork pieces. Do you think he will be making pumpkins? ghosts? Stop by to see!
-Creepy Doll Time!! Make your own Creepy Doll with Stephanie. We have 3 classes happening on October 3rd (plus look online for even more classes). Classes are $30 and include all of the supplies.

Each head has been carefully severed from haunted ceramic dolls and transformed into haunting pendants crafted with sterling silver. Once you've chosen your sinister pendant, select from an array of sterling silver chains in various lengths and styles to effortlessly showcase your Halloween horror glitz. Find this ominous display lurking in the shadowy archway leading into the studio space—where nightmares and art collide. Find him in the archway of classroom A.
-6:00 to 9:00: We are thrilled to have a variety of art pieces from the Boys and Girls Club from the Create @ the Club program. You will definitely want to stop by and see what incredible art they will have displayed! Find them in Classroom B.
-6:00 to 9:00: Stop by to make your own glow in the dark clay ghost with Gail Moses. It will only be $4.99 to make a cute little ghost out of polymer clay. She will fire it and have it ready for you to pick up 30 minutes after you make it. This will be held in Classroom A.
