Afternoon Tea Menu consists of:
Scone Course: Apple & Golden Raisin with Clotted Cream & Apple Butter
Soup Course: Creamy Pumpkin Soup
Tea Sandwich Course: Curried Egg Salad, Smoked Turkey with Kale-Pecan Pesto, Roast Beef with Tarragon-Horseradish Aioli
Dessert Course: Apple Crisp, Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookie, Pumpkin Cupcake with Molasses frosting
Tea Selections: Pumpkin Moonshine & Apple Pie Chai
Price: $30.00 per person + tax = $31.80, Price does not include Gratuity (Gratuity may be cash only)
Please allow two hours to enjoy your afternoon with us. You are welcome to shop in the gift shop before or after your tea seating.
Reservations Required! Seating on Saturday is at 11:00 am & 2:00 pm. Sunday seating is 12 Noon & 3:00 pm. Seating is limited. If someone in your party is unable to go upstairs to the second floor, please request first floor seating at time of reservation. Depending on availability, small groups will be seated with other parties. Please call 570-728-2324 to make your reservation.
Cancellation Policy: The cottage’s continued viability relies on reservations being honored by our customers, and adequate notice being given of any changes or cancellations. Accordingly, the following applies:
1. We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee for any booking that is cancelled, or if numbers are reduced without prior notice.
2. For all bookings, you must notify us of a cancellation or any changes to the number of guests at least 3 days prior to your booking.
3. Hydrangea Cottage reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of $15.00 per person for any bookings changed or cancelled within this notice period.
4. The cancellation fee reflects the cost incurred by Hydrangea Cottage in terms of preparation, cost of food, and any lost revenue as a result of turning away other potential bookings.
5. A valid credit card number is required at time of reservation to hold your spot.
6. We will notify you if any cancellation fee is applied. Cancellation fees will be charged to the credit card on file.
7. Any bookings which fail to turn up without any prior notice will also incur a $15.00 per person fee.
