About Speak About It:

Speak About it offers consent education and violence prevention programming using theater, dialogue, and interactive storytelling with young people across the country. Founded by students for students at Bowdoin College in 2010, we strive to empower youth to give and get consent, speak openly about healthy relationships, and make change in their communities. Since our inception, we have worked with over 550,000 high school and college students. Our most popular program is our Flagship Show, a dynamic performance featuring true stories written by diverse young people across the country. Through the provision of resources and facilitation of discussions, we aim to provide students and young people with the skills to prevent assault, build a culture of consent on their campuses and in their communities.
