On Wednesday, October 16th the Des Moines Chapter of AGA will be hosting a Lunch n' Learn from 12:00 to 1:00 PM, followed by a training webinar that will begin at 1:00 until 3:00 pm.
Join the Des Moines Chapter of AGA in room B50 in the basement of the Grimes State Office Building at noon on Wednesday, October 16th. Learn more about the USDA and Iowa conservation from Jon Hubbert, Iowa State Conservationist - USDA.
Bring your own lunch and arrive early to network with State and Federal Employees and to learn more about AGA and the benefits being a member can offer you. Lunch is from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, with a short AGA business meeting from 11:50 AM to 12:00 PM.

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) issued revised Uniform Grants Guidance (Uniform Guidance) in April 2024. This revision of the Uniform Guidance provides for administrative relief, clarification of terminology, accountability, evaluation, data initiatives, and community engagement. This webinar will explain the key revisions and help provide information to implement the guidance.

• Identify the key Uniform Guidance changes as found in the 2024 revision to 2 CFR Part 200.
• Determine activities necessary to implement the changes to the Uniform Guidance.
• Prepare for audits under the Uniform Guidance.
