Get into the holiday spirit with Melissa McDonald’s festive Christmas Tree Workshop! In this joyful hand-building class, you’ll create your very own charming clay Christmas tree, perfect for decorating your home or gifting to someone special. Melissa will walk you through each step, making it easy and fun for beginners and seasoned potters alike. No previous pottery experience is needed—just bring your holiday cheer and creativity. By the end, you’ll have a unique, handmade tree ready to spread Christmas magic. Come sip cocoa, play in clay, and make something truly merry!
In this workshop, you’ll have the option to make three adorable little trees or one large tree paired with a smaller one—perfect for mixing and matching in your holiday décor. After your pieces are created, you’ll return for a second session to glaze them in your favorite festive colors. For an extra-special touch, you can also choose to sign up for a Raku glazing class, where your trees will get a magical, one-of-a-kind finish from the dramatic Raku firing process.
