Ocean View Hike – Khao Chalak

Introduction
‣ Hike to the peak of Khao Chalak for a beautiful ocean and mountain view. Located around 90 minutes from Bangkok, this is a great one-day hiking trip for those looking for an intermediate trail without travelling too far.
‣ We’ll hike through a combination of stairs and natural trail to reach the viewpoints overlooking Chonburi, the ocean and surrounding mountains. After the hike, we’ll head to BangPra Park for some beach and ocean time before returning to Bangkok.

Itinerary
*There are no plans to deviate from the itinerary unless there is an unforeseen situation.
12:50: Check in at Inthanin Coffee, Bangchak Gas Station, around 300 m walk from Udomsuk BTS Exit 1.
13:00: Depart Bangkok by van and head to Chonburi. The journey takes around 1.30 hours, with a short stop at a gas station along the way.
14:45: Arrive at the trail entrance and prepare for the hike.
‣ We’ll begin with a long staircase leading up to the first viewpoint, where you can enjoy views of BangPrah City, the ocean and surrounding mountains.
‣ From there, we’ll continue along a natural trail to reach the second viewpoint before heading back to the parking area.
‣ After the hike, we’ll drive to BangPra Park for some refreshments and relaxing beach and ocean time.
17.30: Expected to finish the hike. Return to the van and drive to Chai Talay Bang Phra Public Park.
18.00: Arrive at the beach and enjoy some free time.
18:30 - 19.00: Watch Sunset on the beach in the park
19:00: Return back to Bangkok
20.30: Arrive back in Bangkok and end the trip.
