Join us on Ocean Drive on October 5th for a performance featuring Melodia Y Rumba as part of the Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series, a free, weekly concert series presented by the Ocean Drive Association. Pack a picnic blanket or lawn chair to stake out your seat on the lawn. Showtime is at 6:00 PM.
Melodia Y Rumba isn’t just another Latin Act; they’re the heartbeat of Miami’s vibrant Latin scene, where tradition meets the pulse of the city’s nightlife. Founded by the multi-talented Osmany “Ozzie” Gonzalez—bassist, composer, and producer—this 10-piece powerhouse is redefining what it means to groove in the 305.
Ozzie, alongside the captivating voice of lead singer Melissa Cruz, crafts a fresh, electrifying fusion of traditional salsa with a modern twist. This isn’t your abuela’s salsa—it’s salsa reimagined for the new generation, blending the old-school sabor with today’s vibrant energy.
Whether you’re a lifelong salsa lover or just discovering the rhythm, Melodia Y Rumba bridges the gap between generations, ensuring that the soulful beats of their culture resonate with everyone.
