Prove it at the Ocala Kids Run, a FREE 1-mile chip-timed fun run happening Saturday, August 23rd at 8:30 AM at the scenic Baseline Greenway Trailhead. Open to elementary and middle school students, this fun, fast race is perfect for young runners who want to test their speed and enjoy a great community event.

About the Ocala Distance Project
The Ocala Distance Project is a local running club dedicated to developing young distance runners in Marion County. Through structured training, mentorship, and community events, ODP supports elementary, middle, and high school athletes in building confidence, character, and competitive fitness. Whether athletes are just getting started or chasing state and national goals, the Ocala Distance Project provides the coaching and culture to help them succeed—on and off the course.
