We are starting a new Tango Team in OC!One weekly 1.5 hour class where we will work on a choreography
We strongly encourage the dancers to practice at least twice more for a minimum of 6 total hours every week. If you want to improve, you must commit to practicing. this is a team effort and you are a big part of it! Although the team intends to end the cycle by joining our LA team and competing at the SoCal Tango Championship, for those interested, the primary goal it is to improve students dance and performing skills overall.
BLUEPRINT:
Phase 1: (November-December)
“Individual and couples training”. Physical conditioning, Technique. Coordination with the couple. Learning the Choreography. we already have with our LA team
Phase 2: (January through March)
“Team work”: Join the LA team and alternate the two locations. Two weeks in LA and two weeks in OC, Synchronicity, space awareness, choreography development.
Phase 3:
💃🏻🕺🏻 SHOW TIME! 💃🏻🕺🏻 (After SCTC we may book some places to perform with the whole team like at a local milonga.
Q&A:
Do I need a partner to join?
Yes, you do. Since we can’t force rotation or disrupt couples, partner is required.
Can I drop in?
-As a courtesy we can grant a one-time drop in ($45) in case you are unsure if it is for you. After that students interested in continuing must enroll to participate in classes.
Is performing mandatory?
-No, the purpose of this class is to help dancers achieve their goals and improve their dance skills. Although we want to present the team into the public, no one is forced.
What’s required in order to perform?
-Students should know the choreography and exact tempo by heart. should be able to perform solo the choreography. For the SoCal Tango Championship in March students should comply with the requirements from SCTC.

Price: Monthly enrollment $150 per person upon approval by the teachers.

NOTE: A MINIMUM OF 4 COUPLES IS REQUIRED TO START WITH THE GROUP. WE MAY CLOSE AT 7 COUPLES MAX.
