Celebrate the Year of the Fire Horse with De Frates HorsemanshipJoin us for a special edition of our Obstacles After Dark Clinic. How else does one celebrate the start of the year of the fire horse than with horses and fire? In this half day program we will introduce you to the Lead the Change program and learn about the four types of obstacles that our horses face. We will master navigating all the obstacles in the daylight hours, then, as the sun sets, the obstacles will transform unveiling new challenges for you and your horse to conquer. At the end of the night we invite you to join us for a pot luck dinner; we will provide the main!
This clinic is suitable for both in-hand and in-saddle participation. In other words, you do not need to be able to ride to benefit from this clinic! While most of our programs are beginner friendly, we do suggest that participants in Obstacles After Dark: Fire Horse Special have solid handling skills and good control over their horses both on the ground, and in saddle if applicable (age 13+ please).
Past participants consistently tell us that our obstacle programs are TRANSFORMATIVE and many choose to join us time and time again and again because, as with all our clinics, it is always about you, your horse, and where you are in your journey. You will be met where you are and given the support you need to not just meet your goals, but surpass them. As with all of our clinics, we customize the exercises and the obstacles for that clinic's unique set of participants.
