Join us for the Fall edition of International Observe the Moon Night on October 4th, as we take time out to look at our nearest celestial satellite.Take in views through CAS observatories at the waxing gibbous moon, as well as other night sky observables such as Saturn, globular star clusters and the Summer Triangle of stars.
The event begins at 7PM in CAS headquarters with a presentation titled "5 Amazing Moon Discoveries" by Cincinnati State Astronomy Instructor and former CAS President Terry Endres. Observing the moon begins after the presentation.
All ages welcome.
Event is free though donations are accepted.
Please consider leaving your four-legged friends at home as leashes can be a tripping hazard and this event will be held mostly after dark.
